Hotel in Bangkok

Bangkok, the capital of Thailand, is the focal point of Thai culture and balances its extensive modern development with its rich cultural heritage. You will find this evident in Bangkok's numerous exotic temples (wats) and delicious food. Set on the banks of the Chaophraya River, the City is welcoming and exciting, housing a wealth of treasures, fascinating street life and legendary nightlife. There are many world-famous temples and bazaars for you to discover.

One of Bangkok's most popular attractions is the Royal Palace complex, with its gleaming golden spires, amidst a wealth of historic sites including the ancient Buddhist temples of Wat Arun, Wat Pho and Wat Phra Kaeo. Wat Pho, the largest temple in Bangkok, houses the impressive, 46-metre long, gold Reclining Buddha.

This is also the national headquarters for the preservation of traditional Thai massage, so why not enjoy a break with a relaxing massage. Any visit to Bangkok should include a boat trip down the Chaophraya River to visit the Floating Market, or the Royal Barge Museum. Other Bangkok destinations of note include the National Museum, Jim Thompson's House and Vimanmek Mansion Museum.

Bangkok is a shopper's paradise, with a rich assortment of markets and malls. Only two stops by the Skytrain from Pan Pacific Bangkok, you will reach the brand new 'Siam Paragon Shopping Complex', a gigantic mall containing many global fashion merchandises, an entertainment complex and Siam Ocean World - the largest aquarium in South East Asia. Sukhumvit Road and the stalls of Chatuchak Weekend Market are easily accessed via either the Skytrain or Subway. The stations are only a few minutes away from Pan Pacific Bangkok. Robinson Department Store is next door and Jim Thompson's Silks and the world-famous night markets are only a short stroll away.

Recreation in Bangkok is fascinatingly varied, from spectator sports like Thai boxing and horse racing, to Bangkok's remarkable choice of golf courses and, of course, the world-famous nightlife. Close to Pan Pacific Bangkok you will find the Royal Bangkok Sport Club racecourse and the Lumphini Boxing Stadium. Bangkok golf clubs, easily accessible from the hotel, include the exclusive Thai Country Club, Thana City, the difficult course designed by Greg Norman, and Pete Dye's beautiful Suphapruek Country Club.

Hotel in Phuket

Phuket is one of the most popular travel destinations in Southeast Asia. Located on the southern most tip of Thailand, the island jewel has more than 20 scenic white sand beaches, crystal clear blue waters and color reefs rich with sea life. Phuket also features green tropical jungles, spectacular views, limestone cliffs, cool waterfalls and  dozens of lush neighboring islands.

Laying in the Andaman Sea off southern Thailand’s west coast, the island’s terrain is incredibly varied, with rocky headlands, long broad sandy beaches, limestone cliffs, forested hills, small estuaries, lagoons, and tropical vegetation of all kinds. Its large size has allowed microclimates to develop in different areas of the island.

The island offers many different looks and feels for you to discover and enjoy. Kata Beach with its spectacular tropical scenery compared with the stately cassurina trees that are found on Nai Yang Beach just a few kilometers north. The triple canopy rainforest of Khao Phra Thaeo National Park to the mud flats and mangrove swamps of Koh Siray. Limestone outcroppings line the east coast and solid granite boulders on the west. Phuket is truly a tropical wonderland and offers something for just about everyone.
